The system is composed mainly of spray nozzles and control units which form the heart of the atomizing system. Compressed air and water are supplied to the spray nozzles via this control unit. The pneumatic spray nozzle utilizes high velocity flow of compressed air to inject micro-sheared water droplets of less than 10 microns diameter into the targeted air space, raising relative humidity and producing an evaporative cooling effect and reducing dust. Operation is fully automatic and controlled by humidistats.
